Ben’s Guide to U.S. Government for Kids

Navigation Bar

Parents, it’s never too early or too late to start your children on the track to learning about our government. This site is written for Kindergarten-2nd Grade; 3rd-5th Grade; 6th-8th Grade; and 9th-12th Grade. Plus a section just for parents and teachers. This site is an invaluable tool in learning about the government, the way it functions, and having a great time while learning. It just might help some of us “older” adults remember what we may have forgotten.

I highly recommend this site to teachers as a resource tool  in the public, private, and home school environment. The site would be great for students working on-line to increase their knowledge of history and civics.

While under the rule of the British king they learned that this could be a bad system. Yet government under the Articles of Confederation taught them that there was a need for a strong centralized government.
