Kid’s Korner
A new addition, Kid’s Korner, is just for kids their parents, and educators. There are sites that will be full-filled for the children as well as educational. Included is a list of patriotic books for great reading while learning about our nation’s history and future. Also included are links to other government websites designed for children.
Parents and educators will find a wealth of information that covers civics and historical information for teaching kindergarten through high school. Don’t depend on our school system to educate our children – too many schools no longer offer courses on U.S. history and even if they do, it may be distorted. Looking over and selecting the materials that are perfect for your child or classroom is an option you now have.
