A term used by President Obama during a recent speech. The definition? Not even the press knows what it means.

Republicans are pressing to reduce the size of tax credits for families with incomes that are below three times the poverty rate, but Democrats believe savings can be found without going to the heart of the bill.

President Obama said illegal immigrants would not be part of the health care overhaul, taxpayers would not be mandated to fund abortions and he does not intend a government takeover of health care — all claims that critics have made at town hall-style meetings with members of Congress.

Democratic strategists told the Los Angeles Times that the Obama’s administration’s evolving, cerebral arguments for reform are backfiring and contributing to a decline in public support for the legislation.

Legendary Cincinnatian and talk-show host Bill Cunningham joined Sean on stage to offer his thoughts on ObamaCare. Interestingly, the discussion moved quickly to Bill’s encouraging Sean to run for President. “Why not announce that you’re running for the American Presidency in 2012. You’re better looking than Reagan. You’re more popular than Ronald Reagan. Why don’t you stop talking about it Sean Hannity and start walking your way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue,” argued Cunningham. Sean rebutted, “I’m not ruling anything in or out. I’ve never made a decision in my life without – whatever destiny God has you’ve got to fulfill it.” What do you think? President Hannity in 2012?

Legislation currently is before Congress that would reinstate a federal communications policy known as the “fairness doctrine.” The legislation, entitled the “Fairness in Broadcasting Act of 1993,” is sponsored in the Senate (S. 333) by Ernest Hollings, the South Carolina Democrat, and in the House (H.R. 1985) by Bill Hefner, the North Carolina Democrat. It would codify a 1949 Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulation that once required broadcasters to “afford reasonable opportunity for the discussion of conflicting views of public importance.” The fairness doctrine was overturned by the FCC in 1987.
